Did You Know?
  • Driving while consuming alcohol (not after consuming) - often defined as illegal, irrespective of whether or not the driver is impaired. In some jurisdictions it is also illegal for an open container of an alcoholic beverage to be in the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle or in some specific area of that compartment.
  • Attorney - a lawyer in the United States is technically called Attorney at Law or Attorney-at-Law.
  • Alcohol - a potent drug with a range of side effects. The amount and circumstances of consumption play a large part in determining the extent of intoxication, e.g. consuming alcohol after a heavy meal is less likely to produce visible signs of intoxication than consumption on an empty stomach. Hydration also plays a role, especially in determining the extent of hangovers.
  • Attorney at Law - indicates a person who is trained and legally licensed to represent a client in legal matters (both in and out of court) and give legal advice.
  • Ethanol, also known as ethyl alcohol or grain alcohol - a flammable, colorless chemical compound, one of the alcohols that is most often found in alcoholic beverages. It is often referred to simply as alcohol. Its chemical formula is C2H5OH, also written as C2H6O.
